Teladoc Health, one of our key strategic partners, brings its virtual care expertise to critical care settings by helping hospitals connect with telemedicine services. Through secure video and data platforms, on-site medical teams can collaborate seamlessly with remote specialists. Virtual care strengthens patient monitoring, enables timely consultations for complex cases, and supports critical decision-making.
Together, Charité and Teladoc Health have worked to bring evidence-based medicine to patients across multiple countries, including Ukraine, South Africa, Montenegro, and Uzbekistan. As part of their comprehensive research collaboration, the two organizations established a living lab to explore the clinical and technical potential of telemedicine.
Fabrizio Arengi Bentivoglio, President of The Patrons, presented the organization’s work and the progress it has made in providing care for children. He also outlined our goals for the future, which we intend to advance through our strategic partnership with Teladoc Health.
“Telemedicine is a powerful way to connect patients with healthcare providers. At the same time, we never lose sight of the human element: behind every patient is a child,” said President Arengi Bentivoglio.
